Why this exists
You're here to fix a space the platforms let rot. Bot farms eat the last decade of streaming. Agencies bill against numbers nobody checks. Real creators get buried. Brands keep paying anyway because the alternative is doing the math themselves.
legitimate.one is the math. botted.wtf has been calling out platform fraud since 2024, and this is the layer that puts those scores to work — who gets paid, who gets a campaign, who gets audited. The company runs lean. We hire people who can close a deal, write a query, or handle a flagged edge case without a dashboard to hide behind.
Work is remote. Pay is either a day rate or it's résumé material — we're blunt about which. If that's not your frame, you're probably not a fit. If it is, keep reading.

Bring in the brands already fed up — the ones paying platforms for metrics nobody audits, while real creators get buried under fake reach. You source pipeline, close the deal, and own the account from handshake to renewal. If you've ever pitched an influencer package and known half the numbers were fiction, this is the fix.
You're the streamer's human on our side. Onboarding, stuck overlays, payout questions, the occasional 2am "why isn't this working" — you triage it, route it, and make sure the feedback loops back to the team building the thing. Streaming background preferred; empathy required.
Run research on what fake audience behavior actually looks like — across streaming, music, box office, ticketing, anywhere platforms publish numbers that don't audit. Pull data, build detection, ship tools we use internally. You'll be touching the same infrastructure that called out every major streaming platform. SQL, Python, curiosity. Résumé material, no filler.
Review flagged creators, adjudicate edge cases, document patterns. The side of the work that doesn't fit in a dashboard. Write up what you find — some of it may end up as botted.wtf case studies. Good fit: journalism, poli-sci, pre-law, or anyone who's spent too much time reading platform transparency reports and knew they were lying.
